Now with his health shot and his marriage on the rocks Pally need to get his life back on track. And it looks like he might when his step-brother (LaPaglia) a small time crook and conman offers him a half-share in a racehorse and with it the chance to make some serious money. Pally reluctantly agrees to the deal but all to soon the scam spirals out of control and the ex-cop finds himself committing blackmail and murder just to stay alive...
